SaharaReporters reports that after a commercial vehicle plunged into a river in Osun State, two people were reported dead. The accident occurred in an area known as Oke-Gada in Ede on Monday, according to Folashade Odoro, the spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command.
One of the area's inhabitants said the accident was around 7 p.m. He said the driver tried to prevent potholes on the river near the bridge. The vehicle's occupants were said to have been rushed to the area's private hospital.
