SHOWDOWN

The crowd was wild and cheering loudly
The clouds were aware and also moved slowly
The wind was calm but still moved around fiercely
The excitement shook the Earth vigorously
The World would be watching, surely

Everyone screamed and it was more than just a commotion
The performers were good and maintained a perfect formation
The air exploded with a rage of daring combustion
The clock was ticking and everything was set in motion
The World would never again witness a more better occasion

Flags were in the air and waving about everywhere
People stormed in, more flags from each pair
The ones who were late and couldn't be there,
Relaxed and tuned in, from their homes, they will cheer
The World was about to change, of course everyone would be there

The backstage was in a lot of fuss of course
They smiled in peace and knew the day would bring no loss
They thought back and were glad they had opened their doors,
When the challenge had come, possessing so many flaws
But now, they were ahead the cries of some pained curse

Every event was put on hold, even crime
Every soul would be a part and pay any dime
Every food and drink would have nothing like the taste of lime
And every heart will surely rhyme
As the whistle is blown for the SHOWDOWN of a lifetime
