According to Sahara Reporters, alleged COVID-19 patients on Wednesday seeking care at a government facility in Minna, Niger State, were threatening to discharge themselves for poor treatment.

In a video shared by Sahara Reporters, some of the patients expressed frustration at the situation of life, saying they were not happy with their feeding arrangements.

Instead of being left to die of hunger at the isolation house, they pleaded to be allowed to live in their homes instead.

Elsewhere, the state is facing turmoil over a woman's suspected escape from an isolation centre.
