Students’ Aid Foundation (SAF) is a Non-Governmental, Not for Profit Organization dedicated to the administration of a Trust Fund to support indigent but brilliant pupils and students in their bid to access quality education, thereby preventing cases of drop out and poor performance of students.

The Students’ Aid Foundation (SAF), an NGO specialized in the areas of providing support for the educational, career, and employability, as well as entrepreneurship and leadership pursuits of young Nigerians.

This foundation intends to give out a total of 25 scholarships to orphans in need of educational support.

Scholarship Details

Do you have or know of a child or teenager who is an orphan?

• Is the continuation of his or her education threatened by the death of his/her father or a father-figure?
• Is he/she in the Basic, Junior or Senior Secondary level of Education?
• Is he/she in a public school and in need of educational materials and pecuniary support, or a low-paying private school (with fee per term not in excess of N10,000.00 for Primary School and N25,000.00 for Secondary School)?

Scholarship Requirements

In order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Must be an orphan – that is without a father or a father-figure to shoulder educational responsibility
• Must be in the category of Basic, Junior, or Secondary School only
• Must be an above average pupil/student (as results of the last academic session will be examined)
• Must be prepared for written and oral test

Scholarship Duration and Reward

• Educational materials and pecuniary support,
• Or a low-paying private school (with fee per term not in excess of N10,000.00 for Primary School and N25,000.00 for Secondary School)

Successful applicants stand the chance of sponsorship for a minimum of three years

Application starts Friday 9th August, 2021 and closes Monday 16th August, 2021.
