Kaohsiung Medical University was established in 1954. The University was the first private medical educational institution in Taiwan. Initially, KMU had only one faculty–Medicine. Today, the University has 7 academic colleges with 22 faculties offering Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. programs, 527 faculty members, and 6,910 students. 

KMU is conveniently located in downtown Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan. The city offers all the attractions and excitement often associated with city life around the world.

Scholarship Requirements

In order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship, applicants must:

Applicants having any nationality other than China are eligible to apply.

Master’s Program: A Bachelor’s degree or higher obtained from a university

Ph.D. Program: A Master’s degree or higher obtained from a university
