HELP THIS PASSIONATE, YOUNG AND INTELLIGENT MATHEMATICS TEACHER TO STAND ON HIS FEET AND TEACH AGAIN.
FADONOUGBO Jacques from Benin (a small country in West Africa) has been a victim of a serious traffic accident 53 months ago. He is a young teacher of mathematics in the College of General Education. He was on his way to school one morning (March 30, 2017), when he was hit from behind by a vehicle (whose driver fled and has remained unaccounted for till today).
In the accident, he suffered a spinal fracture at the T11/T12 level, which caused a complete injury to his spinal cord. He is therefore paralyzed of both (02) lower limbs since that day and has also lost control of his bladder and intestines, which means that he neither feels the urge to urinate nor have a bowel movement hence urine and bowel movements comes out by themselves without any control and therefore he is forced to wear diapers all the time.
He has been isolated from people because of the smells that comes from the discharges on his body that comes anytime without hinderance and hence feels rejected and completely abandoned by the society.
Due to his fragility and helplessness, his mother abandoned her small business to cater for him full time and that has also made him and the mother live from hand to mouth.
In order to have the chance to regain some of the lost functions, to start going out of the house to work again, to become an independent person, he has to go to India, to the Institute of Brain and Spine - IBS (73 Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar 3 New Delhi - 110024, India, https://www.ibshospitals.com), for a medical treatment of spinal cord injury which will be directed by the neurosurgeon Dr. Sachin Kandhari. This treatment will also allow his mother to return to her small business and regain the source of income she had to abandon.
Estimated cost is about £56,000 GBP and since the accident he hasn’t gotten any financial help from any even though he has sought for.
