The 17-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, who won the title of World's Best in English Language Skills at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London, has been honored by the Federal Government through the Ministry of Education, According to Vangurad Report. At a ceremony in Abuja, Dr. Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, gave Nafisa a N200,000 check as a token of appreciation for her accomplishment.
Senior officials from the Federal Ministry of Education, representatives from the Yobe State Ministry of Education, Yobe State Commissioner for Basic Education, Prof. Abba Adam, and Minister of State for Education Prof. Suiwaba Ahmed were among the dignitaries who attended the occasion. There were also five other competition category winners in attendance.
Dr. Alausa praised Nafisa and said her achievement was evidence of the intelligence and tenacity of Nigerian students. According to him, the widespread acknowledgment highlights the necessity of consistent funding for education and chances for youth to demonstrate their abilities abroad.
He gave his word that the Federal Government is still dedicated to encouraging academic success through mentorship programs, scholarships, and easier access to high-quality educational materials. He believes that other students should be motivated to strive for greatness with commitment and self-control by Nafisa's success.

He added that in order to improve instruction, research, and training, the state's colleges of education, agriculture, and business studies had been renovated.
