Prominent Chieftain of the labour party from the southeast, Chief Nduka Anyanwu, insisted that the giant strides recorded by the present administration in Abia state had paved the way for Governor Otti's reelection in 2027.
Chief Anyanwu maintained that Governor Otti has justified the mandate entrusted to him by the people of the state, describing that there is no vacancy in the state government house come 2027.
Speaking during the weekend in an interview with newsmen in Abuja, Chief Nduka Anyanwu stated that Abia people will reciprocate the governor's gestures and modest achievements by ensuring he return to the exalted office for a second term come next year's general elections in the state.
He told the critics of the current administration in Abia that the people of the state won't afford to change a performing Governor for mediocre, advising them to jettison their inordinate political ambitions and support Governor Otti's continuity come 2027.
Chief Anyanwu urged the electorates to ensure the governor is reelected so as to enable him to consolidate on his administration's laudable strides and engender more impactful socio-economic and infrastructural development for their good.
The frontline Abia Stalwart therefore, called on every eligible citizens from Arochukwu local government area and the larger Abia State to make use of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) by the independent national electoral commission (INEC) and register ahead of upcoming elections across the state.
Chief Anyanwu reminded the citizens that permanent voters cards (PVC) empowered them to vote and to be voted during elections in the country, urging them to ensure Governor Alex Otti's continuity in office beyond 2027.
