INEC Declares Adeleke Winner as Osun Election Ends in Decisive Victory

 

THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared  Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party as the winner of the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election.Ordering Custom Wall Maps

According to the final results announced by INEC, Adeleke

polled 511,067 votes to secure victory and earn another term in office.

He defeated his close rival, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) of the APC, who polled 444,815 votes, by a margin of 66,252 votes.

The victory comes after a fiercely contested election that witnessed an extraordinary voter turnout across many polling units in the state.

Adeleke will now return as the Executive Governor of Osun State for another four-year term.
