Omokri, in a post on his Twitter page on Wednesday, wondered when President Muhammadu Buhari was going to arrest and try former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal for alleged fraud.
He wrote: “Joshua Dariye and Bala Ngilari, the 2 PDP members recently jailed for fraud, were charged and prosecuted by Jonathan’s PDP govt.
“It was not the @MBuhari govt that took them to court. Ask yourself
if it is possible for Buhari to do to APC members what Jonathan did to
PDP members.
“Babachir Lawal was caught red handed stealing. When is Buhari going
to arrest and try him for fraud? Joshua Dariye and Bala Ngilari who were
recently convicted, were PDP members arrested and prosecuted by a PDP
government.“How many APC members has Buhari arrested and prosecuted?”
