Legacy Of The White Tail Deer Hunter Trailer

At this point, you probably know whether or not you’re a fan of filmmaker Jody Hill’s unique brand of humor. As seen in his previous projects like “Eastbound & Down,” “Observe and Report,” “The Foot Fist Way,” and most recently, “Vice Principals,” Hill has a comedic voice all his own. And in the new trailer for the Netflix film, “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter,” he brings that viewpoint to the world of father and son hunting trips.

The trailer for ‘Whitetail Deer Hunter’ not only shows that the SXSW standout film will probably be full of laughs and tons of heart, but also is yet another showcase of the amazing Josh Brolin. In 2018, Brolin has ruled the film industry, with great performances in “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Deadpool 2,” and “Sicario: Day of the Soldado.” Now, he’s taking a decidedly different route, playing a deer hunting father trying to get his young son to appreciate the outdoors.

Joining Brolin and Hill for the adventure is none other than frequent Hill collaborator Danny McBride, as the cameraman for Brolin’s TV series. As you might expect from his roles in just about every Jody Hill production, McBride is a perfect fit for his role.

For those interested in seeing “The Legacy of the Whitetail Deer Hunter,” you can do so from the comfort of your own home on July 6, when the film hits Netflix.

Here’s the official synopsis:
