Katsina Flood: Body of Newly Married Victim Found In Niger Republic


The remaining parts of Hindatu Yahaya, a young lady, cleared away by flod in Jibia town, Katsina, have been recouped in Niger Republic. 

The victim got married three days before the episode. 

Spouse of the deceased, Malam Sani Yahaya, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Jibia how his better half's body was recuperated. 

"The cadaver of my missing spouse was recovered at Girka town in Mada-Rumfa town of Niger Republic," he said. 

Yahaya said that the flood happened on Monday night at around 2:00am, cleared his home and took away his significant other. 

"We sought in the waterway and rubles of the fallen dividers of my home and the places of our neighbors yet couldn't find her. 

"As we were seeking, we got a telephone call from individuals that were helping us in Mada-Rumfa town of Niger Republic, that the carcass of a young lady had been recovered from the stream that goes through their town. 

"We raced to the town and found that it was the remaining parts of my significant other that was angled out of the stream. 

"We gathered her dead body and took her back to Jibia town, where we covered her as per Islamic directives," he said. 

In the mean time, President Muhammadu Buhari has comforted with groups of the casualties and the state. 

He said he had as needs be guided the National Emergency Management Agency to do everything conceivable to convey aid to the casualties wherever they were. 

"As protect and avoidance endeavors proceed with, let me express the true sympathies of my family, the administration and individuals of Nigeria to every one of the casualties of the annihilation by the surges. 

"Give me a chance to guarantee you that we stand prepared to give, inside accessible assets, each help that is expected to convey solace to those in trouble," the President said.
