Cristiano Ronaldo takes final decision on Man Utd future

According to SunSport, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to make Manchester his permanent home as he prepares for life beyond football.

This summer, the 36-year-old made a spectacular return to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo has scored nine goals in 11 games since then, and has established himself as an important member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team.

The Portugal captain has rapidly adjusted to life in England, and he and his partner Georgina Rodriguez are expecting twins.

Ronaldo has stated that he intends to retire at United and that the United Kingdom may be his long-term home as he considers life beyond sport.

There's also a chance he'll use the third-year option in the contract he signed with United in the summer, after initially penciling in a two-year term with a number of conditions.

"Despite the fact that Cristiano has lived all over the world, England has always had a particular place in his heart. He adores the Pacific Northwest and is seeking for a place to call home once he retires from the game.

"Cristiano still feels he has at least two or three years left in the game," a source stated, "but he always has one eye on the future."
