Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has shared her thoughts on marriage, calling it a deeply sacred covenant, not merely a partnership. Posting on X, she insisted that marriage is among the most powerful relationships one can enter, perhaps even the most significant contract one could sign—with God as witness.
Reflecting on her younger sister Temi’s recent nuptials to Afrobeats star Mr Eazi, Cuppy said her conviction about marriage has only grown stronger.
Seeing Temi become Mrs Ajibade, she believes, underscores that marriage is not outdated. With the right person, she added, it can draw one closer to purpose, cultivate love, build family, and leave a legacy.
Temi and Mr Eazi held three ceremonies: a wedding in Monaco on May 9, 2025 (a date chosen to honor Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday), a traditional Yoruba wedding at the Otedola residence in Dubai two months later, and finally a private white wedding in Iceland in August.
