On Thursday, the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, obtained the conviction of five cyber criminals in Cross River State, popularly referred to as Yahoo Boys before the Federal High Court Calabar's S. M. Shuaibu.
The convicts are: Omengala Emmanuel (also known as Frank Hoffman), Obonga Valentine (also known as Patrick Seaman), Segun Dele Jude (also known as Hal Burlington), Promise Nkanga and Omengala Paul (also known as Christopher Mason).
Before being convicted and sentenced, the convicts pleaded guilty to the EFCC's separate one count charge against them for their various involvement in cyber crimes.
